Baker Marine Group Now Managing South Concourse Marina

The South Concourse Marina (located in Neptune, New Jersey on the Shark River) owned by the Zekaria family for over fifty years has retained the Baker Marine Group to operate and manage the rebuilding of the marina. The future plans are to replace five hundred and fifty feet of bulkhead, dredge and upgrade the docks and associated water and electric utilities. The Zekaria family is committed to upgrading, enlarging and maintaining the marina. The Zekarias found the Baker Marine Group to have all of the services necessary to move forward with the project and manage the entire operation on a day to day basis.

The South Concourse Marina has 6 docks and 40 slips. It is located on the Shark River in New Jersey with direct access to the ocean. Sunsets restaurant is directly adjacent to the marina.

Now that you're a member of the Marina on the Bay community, we would like to share some ideas for day trips or weekends.

You are on the Shrewsbury river. If you travel south passing under the Highlands bridge, you will encounter a fork in the river where the Navesink River begins on your starboard side. Follow this its full length (about four miles) and you will land in Red Bank. Along the way I hope you take in the sights of the estates and mansions built along the Rumson and Navesink sections of Middletown. Once in Red Bank there are hundreds of shops and great places to eat.

For a change of pace head on south down the Shrewsbury, follow it past Sea Bright, Rumson, Monmouth Beach, and off in the distance you see Little Silver and Oceanport until you finally land in Long Branch. Keep an eye out, as there are many fine places to dock and dine along the way.

Baker Marine Group Announces Special Rate by Booking Before Nov 30, 2009

Baker Marine Group is pleased to announce the Baker Marine Group Stimulus Package for the 2010 Season.

For Baker's Basin Marina, the 2010 slip rate will be $75 per foot if we receive a 50% deposit paid by November 30, 2009. New customers reserving space for the 2010 season, who prepay the 50% deposit now, may come into the marina for the rest of the 2009 season at no charge.

For Baker's Landing Marina, the 2010 slip rate, $100 per foot, will remain the same as the current 2009 season if we receive a 50% deposit paid by November 30, 2009. New customers reserving space for the 2010 season, who prepay the 50% deposit now, may come into the marina for the rest of the 2009 season at no charge. Winter wet storage will be $25 per foot with winter electric service at an extra $350. Winter dry storage is offered at $35 per foot. No heat is available and no ability to live aboard your boat is offered.

For Marina on the Bay, the 2010 slip rate will remain the same as the current 2009 season if we receive a 50% deposit paid by November 30, 2009. Our season will continue until December 1, 2009 and restart again April 1st, 2010.
